To all RCEA Members:
Wee need YOU! We are looking for members to become officers of the RCEA! There is training available from the VEA for you to learn more about the positions. The different ones are:
President: Current office holder is Nancy Bassett, who is also the District D President. Her position consists of being the contact person to the VEA; and, she also speaks before the Rockingham County School Board.
Vice-President:Current office holder is Heather D'Ames. Her position consisits of helping the President with conducting member meetings and helps plan activities.
Secretary: Open position! The secretary takes notes of meetings and sends out information on events to members.
Treasurer: Open position! Current office holder is Amy Harris, also a member of VEA Retired. The treasurer collects the dues from the RCPS Payroll (a check is sent via Jennifer Dellinger), pays the UniServ and VEA Dues and keeps a record of expenses as well as writing all necessary checks.
