COMING SOON! The VEA will be holding Regional Pre-Legislative Workshops during the months of October and November. The purpose of the workshop is "to provide local leaders with information on legislative issues" before the 2017 General Assembly. Want to which of your local Delegates and Senators are on key committees? Want to know what the General Assembly will be talking about, especially regarding education issues? To sign up to attend, contact RCEA President Steve O'Baugh and let him know! Registration is due by Monday, September 26 for our area! Where and when will our workshop be? It will be on Wednesday, October 26, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at the Verona Methodist Church 606 Lee Hwy, Verona, VA.
A half hour before the workshop begins there will be a hearing on VEA Resolutions and suggestions and concerns about the VEA budget.
